Invest in Kensington Committee
The role of the Invest in Kensington Committee is to promote Kensington as a viable place to do business on PEI. The committee will develop a website and other tools to present information to prospective business owners. This can include startups, franchisees, or those looking to expand. Meetings will be held as determined by the chair.
Policy & Advocacy Committee
The role of the Policy & Advocacy Committee is to be the voice of business on issues affecting the business community in Kensington and surrounding areas. The committee will develop positions of the Kensington Chamber on local and provincial issues. Meetings will be held monthly, or as determined by the chair
Downtown Improvement Committee
The role of the Downtown Improvement Committee is to support initiatives aimed at improving, beautifying, and promoting the downtown Kensington area. The committee will coordinate projects through volunteers, the business community and other community groups to promote, improve and beautify the downtown Kensington area. This committee will be comprised of members, non-members, a student liaison and other interested community groups. Meetings will be held monthly, or as determined by the chair.
The role of the events committee is to organize Chamber functions that encourage participation and delivers maximum value for all business sectors of chamber membership. Meetings are held as necessary at the call of the chair.
